How to inspect custom hats? Introduction of inspection and testing standards for hats

There are many people who wear a favorite hat whether it is to shade in summer or keep warm in winter. Not only is the shape more beautiful, but also very practical. In real life, there are various types of hats: baseball caps, basin hats, casual hats, tennis hats, cowboy hats, children’s hats, fashion hats, winter hats, knitted hats, etc. So how should these hats be inspected? What are the inspection and testing standards for hats? Let me tell you.

Overall inspection (inspect hat appearance)

1. The shape of the hat should be consistent with the sample, the height of the hat body should be consistent from side to side, the body of the hat should be symmetrical from side to side, the brow (bill, brim) of the hat should be centered, correct, and the curvature should be appropriate.

2. The lower part of the cap body is straight (especially the brow corner of the cap). There shall be no bulging, degumming, seepage, and wrinkling in the lining part of the cap body.

3. The front piece is full and does not wrinkle and has no concave waist phenomenon. The tops of the hats must meet at one point, without sharp corners and without chrysanthemum tops (six-piece hats, octagonal hats, etc.).

4. The splicing of the top of the hat and the wall of the hat is naturally tight and suitable for no fine edges and corners (except for some hat types), and the double needle does not wrinkle (basin cap, military cap, etc.).

5. If there is a need for embroidery printing, the size, shape, color matching and position of the embroidery printing should be consistent with the confirmed sample; the embroidery has no exposed bottom or broken thread, and the front and back thread ends need to be cleaned. The printing should have no color matching, the surface should be smooth, and there should be no cracks (except for cracked printing).

6. The material, color and collocation of the fabric should be consistent with the confirmed sample. And no color difference, cloth defects, stains.

7. Cover seam, sweatband, cap button, main label, wash label, etc. must be consistent with the confirmation sample.

Sewing and process inspection

1. The needle distance must be kept between 3cm/10-12 needles;

2. Hats generally have sweatbands. There are two types of non-woven paper in the sweatbands, 70g and 85g. The color is generally white and cannot be yellow;

3. The seal at the sub-mother belt is generally at the outer mouth;

4. When pulling the sweatband, it must be worn flat; no cracking, especially the visor part, the needle size of the visor pulling part should not be too large;

5. The top button has three corners and two corners. Generally, there are more three corners, and generally it can withstand at least 15 pounds of tension;

6. The rust eye must be penetrated, and its color is generally required to be consistent with the main color of the hat;

7. There are generally embroidery and PVC labels on the front and center of the hat; the position requirements are generally 2cm-2.5cm on the lower mouth, and the two sides are centered. If it is embroidery, the color must meet the requirements and no thread should be left. If it is a PVC label , it is required that its size must meet the requirements, and there must be no warping, defects and other phenomena.

8. When ironing, the seam must be flat, the temperature is generally required to be 105-110 degrees, and the time is generally 7s-8s.

9. The size of the circle diameter of the hat must be correct;

10. When the visor is on, its position must be centered and not skewed.

11. The corners of the Velcro are generally required to be trimmed into rounded corners.

Packaging inspection

1. The shape of the cap after ironing should be exactly the same as the confirmed sample. The inside of the cap and the seam of the cap should not be wrinkled. The cap should have a hard lining. The hard lining should be ironed. Straight, without distortion.

2. The pressure of the stereotyped hat, especially the papyrus hat, should be moderate when ironing, and the hat body should not be flattened by the papyrus.

3. The ironing temperature should be appropriate, and there should be no aurora, (especially all polyester fabrics) ironing yellow phenomenon. The main label, the label should be taken flat, and there should be no wrinkle or burn.

4. The certificate of conformity, the hanging method of the price tag, and the location should be consistent with the order requirements. The quantity and proportion of each box should be consistent with the packing list.
