• One-piece bell, no crown seam — pressed in a single mould rather than cut from panels, so nothing hard sits on the top of the head when you lean back on the bench. The bell drops over the ears, which covers a wider band of skin than a close-fitting beanie.
• 100% feutre de laine, 3 mm — dense enough to hold its shape through repeated steaming and thick enough to keep insulating once damp. No synthetic blend, so the hat can go from a 90 °C room to a cold rinse without warping.
• Pinked hem, unbound — the edge is cut with a zigzag blade, a finish that stops the felt fraying without a stitched or taped binding. Nothing stiff touches the neck, and there is no tape to peel after a few months of steam.
• Punched vent line — a ring of holes sits just above the hem, giving the trapped heat somewhere to escape instead of condensing at the brow. It also breaks up the plain dome, so a logo-free hat still reads as a finished product on a shelf.
• Hanging loop at the crown — a felt loop sewn into the top, so the hat hangs on a wall hook in the changing room and dries off the floor. For venues this is the difference between a hat that lasts a season and one that mildews in a basket.
• One size, jusqu'à 61 cm — the felt shell has enough give to fit most adult heads. Two-size grading (56–58 / 59–61 cm) is available from 300 pcs for venues that issue hats by size.
