This reversible felt sauna hat is built from two bonded layers of 100% fieltro de lana. One side is cream, the other warm rust — turn the hat inside out and it changes colour without losing its shape. In a banya or dry sauna the wool layer slows heat transfer to the scalp, so a session runs longer before the ears and forehead start to burn.
The crown stands 14 centímetro / 5.5 in tall and the brim measures 26.6 centímetro / 10.5 in across. Five rows of multi-needle stitching run along the brim, and the same dense stitching holds the crown panels in line, so the brim keeps its shape after repeated washing and air-drying.
